A Grateful Teacher

I just want to say how amazing my students are.

Today was my birthday. My students did not know, but then somehow the news leaked out.

Not a second went by before I had a huddle of kids around me wanting to give me birthday hugs and wishing me well.

Students wrote notes for me on my board and a creative student drew a picture combining my two favorite animals - a dolphant (dolphin and elephant!) Throughout the day, homemade cards were delivered by students with heartfelt messages about how much of a difference I make as a teacher. Wow. Reminder: This is week #3!! I feel blessed beyond words. their advantage. They gave their wishes, notes, and hugs, and then DID THEIR WORK!! I am so impressed by them and so thankful that I have the honor of being their teacher. Can't wait to see what other great things are in their futures.
